An MCB & Library Link IFLA '98 workshop
The MCB and Library Link workshop held at IFLA '98 was a great success. It was attended by over 70 people and resulted in three simultaneous debates on the introduction and support for Internet and CD-ROM based product in libraries, and by library users - along with other pertinent issues concerning electronic information.
Three key discussion areas were drawn from the workshop:
- The Value Added Role for Future Librarians and Information Professionals
- Information Technology in Developing Countries
- The Future of Electronic Journals.
